hey there⋆✴︎˚。⋆

If you’ve landed here,hi!

I’m real glad you found your way.

A young woman with long reddish-brown hair, hazel eyes, and a nose piercing, wearing a colorful checkered sweater with red, pink, and blue squares. She is smiling and posing with her hand behind her head against a plain light-colored background.

I’m Averie. A yoga teacher, Vedic astrology practitioner, Vedic counselor, podcast host, lover of color, artist @ heart, and coordinator of chaaaaos.

My work is driven by this idea : There is something wildly honest in every person, and most of us have spent a lifetime learning how to cover it up, quiet it down, or make it easier to explain.

But I’m more interested in what happens when we stop performing the version of ourselves that keeps everyone comfortable and start making room for the real thing to come forward.

The work we do together…

My work weaves together yoga, Jyotish, embodiment, mindfulness, and reflective conversation. Each offers a different doorway into the same deeper work: understanding your patterns, tending to what is happening within, and strengthening your relationship with your own intuition and self.

Sometimes that happens through movement and the wisdom of the body. Sometimes it happens through the symbolic language of a birth chart or a conversation that gives shape to something you have been carrying quietly. The form might change, but the intention stays to help you meet yourself with greater clarity, context, and a little compassion.

Understand Your Patterns: Recognize the stories, cycles, and tendencies shaping how you move through your life.‍ ‍Return to Your Body : Reconnect with sensation, rhythm, and the information held beneath thought.

Strengthen Self-Trust: Practice listening inward so your choices feel more honest, grounded, and your own.

My approach is intuitive, grounded, and deeply personal. I’m not here to hand you a one-size-fits-all practice or tell you who you are. I’m here to help you listen more clearly to the body, tap into the patterns, the timing, and the truth already speaking through your life.

My Story

I hardly arrived at this work through a perfectly mapped plan. I came to it while searching for my own way back to myself.

In 2019, after the birth of my daughter and the ending of a career path that no longer felt aligned, I started asking bigger questions about how I wanted to live, what I wanted to offer, and what it would look like to create a life that actually felt like mine, one that felt meaningful.

I returned to school to study psychology, but I found that I kept reaching for ways of understanding ourselves that could hold more than the Western science and perspective of the mind. I wanted frameworks that made room for the body, listened to intuition and energetics, created space for symbolism + spirit, and the experiences we carry that exist far beneath the capacity of any language. That searching led me deeper into yoga, mindfulness, and eventually Jyotish, the Vedic system of astrology.

When I entered an adaptive and therapeutically oriented yoga teacher training in 2022, something shifted. I began learning from teachers who created space for both deep knowledge and honest self-inquiry. What started as a search slowly actually shifted into a process of remembering.

I came to understand one of the truths that continues to shape my work:

We have always been ourselves. So much of the journey is learning how to return from the noise, expectations, and survival patterns into the clarity and sacredness of who we already are.

Today, I bring together adaptive and trauma-informed yoga, embodied movement, Vedic astrology, mindfulness, and reflective Vedic counseling. Through private sessions, group practices, workshops, and teacher education, I create spaces where people can slow down, notice what is true, and strengthen their relationship with their own inner guidance.

I see intuition as a relationship, something we nurture through attention, honesty, embodiment, and practice. As that relationship deepens, we begin to move through life with greater agency, self-trust, and a clearer understanding of the season we are in.

I don't think transformation happens because we have a single profound insight. It happens when we learn to return to ourselves, again and again; with curiosity + honesty.
